to tastenonefresh berries and mint leaves for garnish
Instructions
Begin by placing the ripe avocados into a food processor. To this, add the unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, pure vanilla extract, and a pinch of sea salt.
Process the mixture on high until it becomes completely smooth and creamy. You may need to pause a few times to scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula to ensure that all ingredients are well-combined.
After blending, taste the mousse. If you prefer it sweeter, feel free to add an additional drizzle of maple syrup, then blend again briefly until incorporated.
Once you achieve a velvety texture, carefully spoon the mousse into serving bowls or ramekins, ensuring an even distribution.
Cover the bowls with plastic wrap and place them in the refrigerator to chill for a minimum of 30 minutes, allowing the mousse to firm up slightly and the flavors to deepen.
When ready to serve, dish out the mousse cold, garnishing each serving with a handful of fresh berries and a sprig of mint for a vibrant and refreshing touch.
Notes
Use honey instead of maple syrup for a non-vegan option.
