to tastesesame seeds and sliced green onions for garnish
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped green onions, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, black pepper, and sesame oil. Mix thoroughly until evenly distributed.
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium heat.
Lightly coat your hands with oil and shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1-inch in diameter, aiming for around 16 meatballs.
If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes. Thread the meatballs onto the skewers, spacing them evenly.
Brush half of the teriyaki sauce over the meatballs on the skewers.
Place the skewers on the preheated grill and cook for approximately 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
In the last minute of grilling, brush the remaining teriyaki sauce over the meatballs.
Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
Transfer the skewers to a serving platter and garnish with sesame seeds and additional sliced green onions if desired.
Notes
Serve on a wooden board with extra teriyaki sauce for dipping.
